United Arrows x A Bathing Ape Mr. Bathing Ape 2010 Spring/Summer Collection

Following up on the recent launch of the Mr. Bathing Ape collection involving A Bathing Ape and United Arrows, here’s another perspective into the line. As mentioned, the line takes on a more conservative and refined approach. COMME des GARCONS x Moncler 365 Collection

Two heavyweights in their own regard come together in this latest collaboration as it involves Japanese fashion brand COMME des GARCONS and outerwear company Moncler. This particular relationship infuses the well-documented and progressive aesthetics of COMME des GARCONS with the signature outerwear expertise of Moncler. The two recently opened a new retail space to house the collection in Tokyo which will remain open over the course of a year. In July, a new collection will also debut under the same theme

Jeremy Scott for adidas Originals by Originals 2010 Fall/Winter Preview

High fashion designer Jeremy Scott returns with his signature collections, creatively designed for the spotlight this upcoming Fall/Winter season. Anna Sui x Medicom Toy 400% Bearbrick

Following a good response for its 100% version, Medicom Toy creates a 400% bearbrick design in collaboration with renowned American fashion designer Anna Sui. Chiaki x colette x Medicom Toy My First Be@rbrick B@by 1000%

Following up its last limited release, Medicom Toy offer up a 1000% version of the “My First Be@rbrick B@by”, designed by Japanese actress Chiaki Kuriyama and Parisian boutique colette. The toy features more of a colette blue colorway rather than the royal blue release from 2008. An official drop is slated for April 10th, 2010 through select retailers, including Project 1/6.

adidas Originals “Hide and Seek” Stan Smith 80s TF

An interesting theme making its way into the adidas Originals 2010 spring/summer collection has been their “TF” line. The TF line is based around iconic classics which feature a transformable upper. The initial drop has seen highlights that include the Superstar and the Stan Smith 80s seen here. In its original form, the Stan Smith features a high-top profile in which the upper can be un-zipped and removed to create a low-top version in a different color. We expect this concept to continue on with further releases but for the time being, the Stan Smith 80s TF is available now at select retailers

Thom Browne for Supreme


One of America’s most cherished and respected designers, Thom Browne and his self-titled label has been a stand-out for American men’s fashion since its launch almost 10 years ago. Merging high-fashion and tailoring with the authenticity of Supreme, the two come together in a this New York City affair to release a collection of oxford shirts. Three shirts include blue, black and red with some styling shots involving notable skate personality, Jason Dill. A release is slated for March 25th, 2010 for both online and in-store in the United States and March 27th in Japan.

Lanvin Leather and Neoprene Hi Top

This Lanvin Leather and Neoprene Hi Top is a step away from the iconic Lanvin sneakers that have caught so much attention over the last few seasons. The shoe is unique with its cut out detailing and the addition of Neoprene, but the sole unit and general aesthetic is in keeping with the classic tennis shoes Lanvin keep bringing us.
“A navy neoprene and brown leather hi-top trainer from Lanvin. Brown cut out leather detailing runs along the side of the foot with brown lace-ups. A burgundy colour trim sits around the top of the ankle on the neoprene. Flat white rubber sole. A navy leather tab sits at the back of the ankle to pull on the shoe. ”

Oliver Spencer for Topman | Red Brick Sole Shoes


While designers creating capsule collections and products for high street stores is nothing new, infact quite the opposite in this era, it has been less frequently done as well for men as it has for women. With probably just a few exceptions, Jil Sander for Uniqlo being one, the mens collaborations haven’t lived up to the hype seen from the likes of Kate Moss and Christopher Kane for Topshop, or Sonia Rykiel for H&M. Oliver Spencers line of footwear for Topman could change all that. A selection of Red Brick Sole shoes and Chukka boots will be available this season for just £80.

New York City’s Vane and Sebago continue on with their partnership of last season as we preview their 2010 spring/summer collection. The design language of the collection takes into account the heritage of Sebago as a brand with contemporary design updates. A strong focus on materials includes some uses of both Cordura and silver reflective 3M. adidas Originals x size? Manchester Pack

Commemorating a decade of service to the UK, premium retailer size? continues its tenth anniversary project with a special release from adidas Originals. Having already launched a London pack, the cities series continues with Manchester. The release features much of the same design elements, pairing a classic Originals sneaker and track jacket into a special limited edition release. While the sneakers only see a production of 500 pairs, the jackets will be made in a run of 300, both holding a launch date set for April 17th, 2010.

A.P.C. “Madras” Collection

Here’s a look at French label A.P.C. and their latest set of apparel from this year’s “Madras” collection. Retaining a relaxed, clean aesthetic indicative of Western European style, the smart-casual range’s stand out feature is the use of the unique “Madras check” pattern which incorporates asymmetrically placed stripes, which differ in thickness.
