Paris based, Italian goods company Corto Moltedo and New York based eyewear specialists Illesteva have teamed up for a collaboration to create a new optical frame style named ‘Frieda’. The new frames are inspired by the lifestyle and the aesthetics apparent in Havana, Cuba, in the 1950’s which was then nicknamed the ‘Latin Las Vegas’. Made in Germany the frames come in a natural marmor, acetate color way which will be exclusively sold at Corto Moltedo’s flagship store at the Palais Royal in Paris from June 25th, 2010, during Paris Men’s S/S 2011 Fashion week.
